Mount the Model “C” Adjustable Torch Holder or the Out-of-Round Attachment to the ring gear following the same procedures used to bolt the standard torch holder to the machine.

Model “C” Out-Of-Round Attachment
- Release lock #1 by turning counterclockwise until the lock handle is positioned against the lock stop (refer to Diagram 5).
- Turn knob #2 counterclockwise lowering the Out-of-Round’s wheel to the pipe. Continue turning after contact is made until the slide on the back of the Out-of-Round is flush with the top of the Out-of-Round’s case. When flush lock into position by turning lock #1 clockwise until snug.

Set the desired angle for the cut by loosening knob #4 and positioning the torch holder to the proper degree as shown on the degree selector slide, then tighten knob #4.
- Insert the torch into the torch holder assembly until the tip is in the approximate cutting position, then tighten the thumbscrew.
- Fine vertical adjustment of the torch may be made by turning knob #3.
- Fine horizontal adjustment of the torch may be made by turning knob #6.
- Adjustment for eliminating the blow hole is achieved by turning knob #6, so the cut is established outside the intended line of the cut. Turn knob #6 to move the torch horizontally into the desired line of the cut when the high-pressure oxygen valve has been opened and the cut established. Start rotating the machine either manually or with an electric motor.
- After completing a cut using the Out-of-Round Attachment, release lock #1 and turn knob #2 clockwise to raise the wheel away from the pipe. Lock the assembly in the UP position.NOTE: Never turn knob #2 without unlocking lock handle #1.
- Release the boomer assembly and remove the machine.
